The hour
Round n is the hour that starts n × 3,600 seconds after the Unix epoch. The contract reads the clock, so nothing has to open or close a round:
- Open: entries for round n open one hour and five minutes before its start, the moment round n − 1 locks. Exactly one round takes entries at any time.
- Lock: entries close five minutes before the hour, when the start price window begins.
- Settle: from the end of the hour anyone may settle; the keeper does it within minutes.
The week
Tokenized stocks trade around the clock on Robinhood Chain, but outside Robinhood's 24/5 stock session their pools go quiet, and a quiet pool is cheap to push. So the contract keeps a 168 bit schedule, one bit per hour of the week, with hour 0 at Monday 00:00 UTC:
The 72 is there because 1 January 1970 was a Thursday. The schedule on chain sets hours 2 to 119:
- Monfrom 02:00
- Tueall day
- Wedall day
- Thuall day
- Friall day
- SatETH only
- SunETH only
- Weekday card for rounds that start Monday 02:00 through Friday 23:00 UTC: up on NVDA, lead among NVDA, GOOGL and ETH, and severity on ETH.
- Weekend card for every other hour: up and severity, both on ETH. That includes Monday 00:00 and 01:00 UTC.
- A weekday card asks for nine probabilities, a weekend card for six. The app always shows the card the contract says is due.
Why 02:00 and not 00:00
The stock session runs Sunday 20:00 to Friday 20:00 New York time. That is Monday 00:00 to Saturday 00:00 UTC in summer time, and an hour later in winter time (1 November 2026 to 14 March 2027). The schedule stays in UTC and starts at hour 2, so both price windows of every weekday round sit inside the session in summer and in winter.
US market holidays are not modelled: on a holiday the weekday card runs on quiet stock pools unless the owner switches the schedule for that day. The owner can change the schedule only for rounds that have not started, and a round keeps the card it was born with: the card is fixed at its first entry.
The schedule page
The schedule page runs on the same rules, with the session mask read from the contract. At the top, three countdowns for the round that takes entries now: when its entries lock, when it can be settled, and when the next round opens (the same moment it locks).
Below, the next 24 rounds. Each row shows the round number (a link to its page), the card it will use, and its open, lock and settle times, in your time zone and in UTC. The open round is highlighted, and the page checks the contract again every minute, so a schedule change shows up without a reload.
Upcoming events and calendar files
Upcoming events lists what changes next, computed from the schedule: when the stock card returns, when the weekend ETH-only card begins, and the next round numbers divisible by 100 and by 1,000. Each event is timed to the moment its round opens for entries.
Add to calendar saves a small .ics file, built in your browser, with the entry window, the round's times in UTC and a link to its page. Open it with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook and the reminder lands in your own time zone. Nothing is sent anywhere: the file never leaves your device until you open it.
One to note: round 498,000 opens Friday 23 October 2026 at 22:55 UTC and is itself the first weekend round of that week, ETH only.
